The Disaster

SHANKSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA. 9.11.2001

On September 11, 2001, terrorists orchestrated three attacks upon our nation with precision. Hijacked jet planes demolished both of the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. But United Airlines Flight 93 crashed prematurely in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Forty passengers and crew entered eternity.

The National Park Service holds an annual memorial recognizing the heroism of the passengers and crew of Flight 93. And by God's grace, IBPHM is there, with answers to America's questions.

America is still struggling to understand the greatest act of terrorism on American soil. We believe that God has the answer. And God has granted us the opportunity to share that answer.

The Opportunity

God has blessed us with an incredible open door.

On September 11, 2013, Chris Sidwell led IBPHM’s third annual outreach at the site of Flight 93. Every year we hand out thousands of tracts and other items, as well as having many opportunities to witness.

The 9-11 Project also provides an exceptional opportunity to train young people how to engage our culture with the Gospel. Americans touched by the tragedy and sacrifice of that day are fertile ground for the seed of the Gospel.

America is asking questions. Christ is the answer. We stand and witness to His plan, His truth — His Gospel.
